Terms and Conditions for Booking a Buffet at JACKS

1. Booking Confirmation

1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Jacks in writing.
1.2. A deposit of £5 per person of the total estimated cost is required to secure the booking. This deposit is non-refundable and must be paid within 7 days of the booking confirmation.
1.3. The final guest count and any special dietary requirements must be confirmed no later than 10 days before the event.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. The balance of the payment is due no later than 2 days before the event.
2.2. Payments can be made via the website or card.
2.3. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1. Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Jacks.

3.2. If the event is canceled:

15 days or more before the event, 100% of the total cost will be refunded. Less than 5 days before the event, no refund will be provided.

3.3. Jacks reserves the right to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions). In such cases, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.

4. Menu and Service

4.1. The agreed menu and pricing will be detailed in the booking confirmation. Any changes to the menu must be communicated and agreed upon in writing no later than 10 days before the event.
4.2. Special dietary requirements or allergies must be communicated at the time of booking or no later than 10 days before the event.

4.3. Jacks will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests but cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.

5. Guest Conduct and Behavior

5.1. The organiser is responsible for the conduct of their guests. Jacks reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest who behaves inappropriately or disruptively.
5.2. Any damage to the restaurant’s property caused by guests will be the responsibility of the organiser and may incur additional charges.

6. Liability

6.1. Jacks will not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event unless caused by the negligence of the restaurant or its staff.

7. Event Timing

7.1. The event must start and end at the agreed times as stated in the booking confirmation.
7.2. Any extension of the event time must be pre-approved by Jacks and may incur additional charges.

8. Force Majeure

8.1. Jacks will not be held responsible for any failure to fulfill its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

9. Agreement

9.1. By confirming the booking, the organiser agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. Any variations to these terms must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
